Add a picture to an article
A picture sits in the text where you put it. One picture can be in many articles, and Media keeps them all.
- In Write, put the cursor where the picture goes.
- Select Add a picture, or paste one in in the toolbar, or type / and choose Picture.
- In Add a picture, pick a picture.
- In the article editor, drag the picture's edges to resize it. The selected width is preserved when the article is displayed.
Where a picture can come from
- Suggested here: pictures your help center has that fit the words before the cursor.
- Every picture: every picture in your help center. Search with the search box, or narrow the list with Any collection and Any screen.
- Upload a new picture: a file from your computer. You can also paste a picture into the text.
- Take in the app: a new picture of your app, taken by the bots. It needs a sign-in for the bots, which you add on Setup, under “Later, when you want”.
